Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 1

It is You we worship and You we ask for help.

A nijedno naselje nismo uništili a da mu nije propisan određeni rok.

Guide us to the straight path -

Nijedan narod ne može ni ubrzati ni usporiti vrijeme mu određeno.

The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

Oni govore: "Hej ti kome se Opomena objavljuje, ti si uistinu lud!

Zašto nam meleke ne dovedeš, ako si jedan od iskrenih?!

This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allāh 1 -

Mi meleke šaljemo samo s Istinom, a da ih pošaljemo, tada se njima ne bi vremena dalo.

English - Saheeh International

Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, 1 and spend out of what We 2 have provided for them,

Mi, uistinu, Opomenu objavljujemo i zaista ćemo Mi nad njim bdjeti.

English - Saheeh International

And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].

I prije tebe poslanike smo narodima prijašnjim slali.

English - Saheeh International

Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.

English - Saheeh International

Indeed, those who disbelieve 1 - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.

I nijedan im poslanik nije došao a da mu se nisu izrugivali.

Eto, tako dajemo da to uđe u srca prestupnika.

Allāh has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. 1 And for them is a great punishment.

Oni u njega neće vjerovati, a već je primijenjena zakonitost kažnjavanja na narodima prijašnjim.

And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allāh and the Last Day," but they are not believers.

They [think to] deceive Allāh and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not.

English - Saheeh International

In their hearts is disease, so Allāh has increased their disease; 1 and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.

opet bi oni, sigurno, rekli: "Pogledi očiju su nam opijeni, štaviše, mi smo ljudi opčinjeni.

Mi smo na nebu velike zvijezde stvorili i okitili ga za one koji posmatraju.

And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers."

I zaštitili smo ga od svakog šejtana prokletog.

Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not.

A onoga koji kradom prisluškuje stiže plamen vidljivi.

English - Saheeh International

And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.

And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe"; but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say, "Indeed, we are with you; we were only mockers."

A Zemlju smo prostrli i po njoj nepomične planine postavili i učinili da na njoj sve s mjerom raste.

English - Saheeh International

[But] Allāh mocks them and prolongs them in their transgression [while] they wander blindly.

I tu smo vam dali sve što je za život potrebno, a i onima koje vi ne hranite.

I ne postoji ništa čije riznice ne posjedujemo, a od toga Mi dajemo samo po mjeri određenoj.

Those are the ones who have purchased error [in exchange] for guidance, so their transaction has brought no profit, nor were they guided.

Mi šaljemo vjetrove da oplođuju, a iz neba spuštamo vodu pa vas njome napajamo - vi je niste u stanju zadržati.

English - Saheeh International

Their example is that of one who kindled a fire, but when it illuminated what was around him, Allāh took away their light and left them in darkness [so] they could not see.

I samo Mi dajemo život i smrt, i samo Mi sve nasljeđujemo.

English - Saheeh International

Deaf, dumb and blind - so they will not return [to the right path].

English - Saheeh International

Or [it is] like a rainstorm from the sky within which is darkness, thunder and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears against the thunderclaps in dread of death. But Allāh is encompassing 1 of the disbelievers.

I samo Mi znamo one koji su vam prethodili, i samo Mi znamo one koji će poslije doći.

Bosnian - Muhamed Mehanović

A On, Gospodar tvoj, zaista će ih sabrati. On je Mudri i Sveznajući.

English - Saheeh International

The lightning almost snatches away their sight. Every time it lights [the way] for them, they walk therein; but when darkness comes over them, they stand [still]. And if Allāh had willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Indeed, Allāh is over all things competent.

English - Saheeh International

O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous -

Mi smo stvorili Adema od suhe gline; od blata glatkoga.

English - Saheeh International

[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allāh equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him].

A još prije stvorili smo džine od vatre užarene.

I kad Gospodar tvoj reče melecima: "Ja ću stvoriti čovjeka od suhe gline, od blata glatkoga.

English - Saheeh International

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down [i.e., the Qur’ān] upon Our Servant [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)], then produce a sūrah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses [i.e., supporters] other than Allāh, if you should be truthful.

I kad mu dam lik i u njega udahnem dušu, vi mu na sedždu padnite!"

English - Saheeh International

But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is people and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.

Svi meleki su skupa sedždu učinili,

English - Saheeh International

And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.

English - Saheeh International

Indeed, Allāh is not timid to present an example - that of a mosquito or what is smaller 1 than it. And those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allāh intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient,

osim Iblisa; on je odbio da bude s onim koji su sedždu učinili.

Bosnian - Muhamed Mehanović

"O Iblise", reče On, "zašto nisi bio s onima koji su sedždu učinili?"

English - Saheeh International

Who break the covenant of Allāh after contracting it and sever that which Allāh has ordered to be joined and cause corruption on earth. It is those who are the losers.

"Nije moje da učinim sedždu čovjeku koga si stvorio od suhe gline, od blata glatkoga."

English - Saheeh International

How can you disbelieve in Allāh when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned.

"Onda izlazi iz Dženneta", reče On, "zaista si proklet!

English - Saheeh International

It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself 1 to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.

English - Saheeh International

And [mention, O Muḥammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." 1 They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we exalt You with praise and declare Your perfection?" 2 He [Allāh] said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."

I neka se prokletstvo zadrži na tebi do Dana sudnjega!"

"Gospodaru moj", reče on, "daj mi vremena do Dana kad će oni biti oživljeni!"

English - Saheeh International

And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."

"Daje ti se vrijeme", reče On,

English - Saheeh International

They said, "Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, 1 the Wise." 2

"do Dana već određenog."

English - Saheeh International

He said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you have concealed."

"Gospodaru moj", reče, "kao što si me u zabludu doveo, tako ću i ja njima na Zemlji poroke lijepim činiti i sve ću ih zavesti,

English - Saheeh International

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. 1 He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.

English - Saheeh International

And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."

osim Tvojih iskrenih robova među njima."

Bosnian - Muhamed Mehanović

"Ovo je Pravi put k Meni", reče On.

English - Saheeh International

But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."

"Ti nećeš imati nikakve vlasti nad robovima Mojim, osim nad onima koji te budu slijedili, od onih zalutalih;

English - Saheeh International

Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, 1 and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of Repentance, 2 the Merciful.

za sve njih Džehennem će odredište biti,

English - Saheeh International

We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

English - Saheeh International

And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those will be companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."

Bosnian - Muhamed Mehanović

on sedam kapija ima i kroz svaku će određen broj njih proći."

English - Saheeh International

O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me.

Bosnian - Muhamed Mehanović

Zaista će bogobojazni u džennetskim baščama i pored izvora biti.

Bosnian - Muhamed Mehanović

"Uđite u njih sigurni, straha oslobođeni!"

English - Saheeh International

And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear [only] Me.

Bosnian - Muhamed Mehanović

Mi ćemo zlobu iz grudi njihovih istisnuti; kao braća će biti, jedni naspram drugih oni će na divanima sjediti.

English - Saheeh International

And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].

Bosnian - Muhamed Mehanović

Tu ih umor neće doticati, oni odatle nikada neće izvedeni biti.

English - Saheeh International

And establish prayer and give zakāh 1 and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].

English - Saheeh International

In the name of Allāh, 1 the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. 2

Kaži robovima Mojim da sam Ja, zaista, Oprostitelj grijeha, Milostivi,

ali da je i kazna Moja, doista, bolna kazna!

English - Saheeh International

[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, Lord 1 of the worlds -

I obavijesti ih o gostima Ibrahimovim,

The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

kada su mu ušli i rekli: "Selam!", on je rekao: "Prepali smo vas se!"

"Ne plaši se!", rekoše, "donosimo ti radosnu vijest, imat ćeš sina koji će znan biti."

English - Saheeh International

It is You we worship and You we ask for help.

"Donosite radosnu vijest sada kad me je starost ophrvala?", reče on, "čime ćete me obradovati?"

English - Saheeh International

Guide us to the straight path -

"Donosimo ti radosnu vijest koja će se doista obistiniti", rekoše oni, "zato ne budi među očajnicima!"

Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, 1 and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of Repentance, 2 the Merciful.

We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those will be companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."

O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me.

English - Saheeh International

And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear [only] Me.

And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].

And establish prayer and give zakāh 1 and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].
