kada je vatru ugledao, pa porodici svojoj rekao: "Ostanite vi tu, ja sam vatru vidio, možda ću vam nekakvu glavnju donijeti ili ću pored vatre naći nekoga ko će mi put pokazati."

A kad do nje dođe, neko ga zovnu: "O Musa,

This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allāh 1 -

Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, 1 and spend out of what We 2 have provided for them,

And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].

Tebe sam izabrao, zato ono što ti se objavljuje slušaj!

Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.

čas oživljenja sigurno će doći, skoro da ga i od Sebe tajim, kad će svaki čovjek prema trudu svome nagrađen ili kažnjen biti.

Indeed, those who disbelieve 1 - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.

I neka te zato od vjerovanja u njeg nikako ne odvrati onaj koji u njega ne vjeruje i koji slijedi strast svoju, pa da budeš izgubljen.

Allāh has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. 1 And for them is a great punishment.

And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allāh and the Last Day," but they are not believers.

They [think to] deceive Allāh and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not.

"Baci ga, o Musa!", reče On.

English - Saheeh International

In their hearts is disease, so Allāh has increased their disease; 1 and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.

I on ga baci, kad on, zmija koja hmili.

English - Saheeh International

And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers."

Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not.

"Uzmi je i ne boj se!", reče On, "Mi ćemo je vratiti u ono što je prije bila.

I uvuci ruku pod pazuho svoje, ruka će se ukazati bijela, bez ikakve mahane; kao znak drugi.

And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.

To je zato da ti pokažemo neke od Naših najvećih znakova."

English - Saheeh International

And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe"; but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say, "Indeed, we are with you; we were only mockers."

Idi faraonu, on se, zaista, osilio!"

English - Saheeh International

[But] Allāh mocks them and prolongs them in their transgression [while] they wander blindly.

"Gospodaru moj", reče Musa, "učini prostranim prsa moja,

Those are the ones who have purchased error [in exchange] for guidance, so their transaction has brought no profit, nor were they guided.

Their example is that of one who kindled a fire, but when it illuminated what was around him, Allāh took away their light and left them in darkness [so] they could not see.

Deaf, dumb and blind - so they will not return [to the right path].

English - Saheeh International

Or [it is] like a rainstorm from the sky within which is darkness, thunder and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears against the thunderclaps in dread of death. But Allāh is encompassing 1 of the disbelievers.

i daj mi pomoćnika iz porodice moje,

English - Saheeh International

The lightning almost snatches away their sight. Every time it lights [the way] for them, they walk therein; but when darkness comes over them, they stand [still]. And if Allāh had willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Indeed, Allāh is over all things competent.

Haruna, brata mog;

O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous -

osnaži me njime

English - Saheeh International

[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allāh equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him].

i pridruži mi ga u zadatku mome

English - Saheeh International

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down [i.e., the Qur’ān] upon Our Servant [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)], then produce a sūrah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses [i.e., supporters] other than Allāh, if you should be truthful.

da bismo Te mnogo veličanjem slavili

English - Saheeh International

But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is people and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.

And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.

Ti, uistinu, sve u vezi s nama uviđaš."

English - Saheeh International

Indeed, Allāh is not timid to present an example - that of a mosquito or what is smaller 1 than it. And those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allāh intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient,

"Udovoljeno je molbi tvojoj, o Musa", reče On,

English - Saheeh International

Who break the covenant of Allāh after contracting it and sever that which Allāh has ordered to be joined and cause corruption on earth. It is those who are the losers.

"a ukazali smo ti milost Svoju još jednom,

English - Saheeh International

How can you disbelieve in Allāh when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned.

kada smo majku tvoju nadahnuli onim što se samo nadahnućem zadobija:

English - Saheeh International

It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself 1 to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.

Metni ga u sanduk i u rijeku baci, rijeka će ga na obalu izbaciti, pa će ga i Moj i njegov neprijatelj prihvatiti.' I na tebe sam prosuo ljubav od Sebe i da budeš othranjen pod okom Mojim.

English - Saheeh International

And [mention, O Muḥammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." 1 They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we exalt You with praise and declare Your perfection?" 2 He [Allāh] said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."

English - Saheeh International

And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."

Kada je sestra tvoja otišla i rekla: 'Hoćete li da vam ja pokažem onu koja će se o njemu brinuti?' Mi smo te majci tvojoj opet vratili da se raduje i da više ne tuguje. A ti si ubio jednog čovjeka, pa smo te Mi brige oslobodili i raznim nevoljama te iskušali pa spasili. I ti si ostao godinama među stanovnicima Medjena, zatim si, o Musa, u određeno vrijeme došao,

i za Sebe sam te pripravio.

English - Saheeh International

They said, "Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, 1 the Wise." 2

He said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you have concealed."

Idite ti i tvoj brat, sa znakovima Mojim, i nemojte malaksati u sjećanju na Mene.

Idite faraonu, on se, doista, osilio,

English - Saheeh International

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. 1 He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.

And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."

pa mu blagim riječima govorite, ne bi li razmislio ili se pobojao."

"Gospodaru naš", rekoše oni, "bojimo se da nas odmah na muke ne stavi ili da svaku mjeru zla ne prekorači."

But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."

"Ne bojte se!", reče On. "Ja sam s vama; čujem i vidim?"

English - Saheeh International

Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, 1 and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of Repentance, 2 the Merciful.

Idite k njemu i recite: "Mi smo poslanici Gospodara tvoga, pusti sinove Israilove da idu s nama i nemoj ih mučiti! Donijeli smo ti znak od Gospodara tvoga, pa neka je selam - spas onome ko Uputu slijedi!

We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

Nama se objavljuje da će patnja sigurno zadesiti onoga koji niječe i koji se okreće."

English - Saheeh International

And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those will be companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."

"Pa ko je Gospodar vaš, o Musa?", upita faraon.

English - Saheeh International

O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me.

"Gospodar naš je Onaj Koji je svemu dao oblik a zatim ga uputio."

English - Saheeh International

And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear [only] Me.

And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].

"A što je s narodima davnašnjim?", upita on.

I Musa se narodu svome vrati srdit i žalostan. "O narode moj", reče, "zar vam Gospodar vaš nije dao lijepo obećanje? Zar vam se vrijeme oduljilo, ili hoćete da vas stigne srdžba Gospodara vašeg, pa se zato niste držali obećanja koje ste mi dali!"

English - Saheeh International

Who break the covenant of Allāh after contracting it and sever that which Allāh has ordered to be joined and cause corruption on earth. It is those who are the losers.

"Nismo od svoje volje prekršili obećanje koje smo ti dali", odgovoriše. "Bili smo natovareni teretima, nakitom faraonova naroda, pa smo to pobacali." A to je uradio i Samirija,

English - Saheeh International

How can you disbelieve in Allāh when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned.

English - Saheeh International

It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself 1 to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.

pa im izlio tele koje kao da je mukalo, i oni su onda rekli: "Ovo je vaš bog i Musaov bog, a on ga je zaboravio."

English - Saheeh International

And [mention, O Muḥammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." 1 They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we exalt You with praise and declare Your perfection?" 2 He [Allāh] said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."

A njima je Harun još prije govorio: "O narode moj, vi ste njime samo u iskušenje dovedeni; Gospodar vaš je Svemilosni, zato slijedite mene i slušajte naređenje moje."

And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. 1 He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.

And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."

But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."

"Ja sam vidio ono što oni nisu vidjeli", odgovori on, "pa sam šaku zemlje sa traga Izaslanikova uzeo i to bacio, i eto, tako mi to uljepša moja duša."

Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, 1 and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of Repentance, 2 the Merciful.

"E onda se gubi!", reče Musa, "čitavog svog života ćeš govoriti: 'Nema doticanja!', a čeka te još i Čas određeni koji te neće mimoići. Pogledaj samo ovoga tvog boga kojem si u obožavanju privržen bio: mi ćemo ga sigurno spaliti i po moru mu prah rasuti.

We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

Vaš Bog je, Allah, drugog boga osim Njega nema! On znanjem sve obuhvata."

And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those will be companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."

O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me.

Ko se od nje okrene, na Kijametskom danu će doista teško breme ponijeti;

English - Saheeh International

And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear [only] Me.

vječno će tako ostati, a jeziv tovar će im na Kijametskom danu biti.

And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].

And establish prayer and give zakāh 1 and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].

Guide us to the straight path -

The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allāh 1 -

Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, 1 and spend out of what We 2 have provided for them,

And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].

Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.

Indeed, those who disbelieve 1 - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.

Allāh has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. 1 And for them is a great punishment.

And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allāh and the Last Day," but they are not believers.

They [think to] deceive Allāh and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not.

In their hearts is disease, so Allāh has increased their disease; 1 and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.

Ali šejtan ga poče nagovarati i govoriti: "O Ademe, hoćeš li da ti pokažem drvo besmrtnosti i carstvo koje neće nestati?"

English - Saheeh International

And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers."

Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not.

I njih dvoje pojedoše s njega i ukazaše im se stidna mjesta njihova pa počeše po njima lišće džennetsko stavljati, tako Adem nije Gospodara svoga poslušao, pa je zabasao.

And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.

"Izlazite iz njega svi", reče On, "jedni drugima neprijatelji ćete biti! Od Mene će vam Uputa dolaziti, i onaj ko bude slijedio Uputu Moju neće zalutati i neće nesretan biti.

English - Saheeh International

And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe"; but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say, "Indeed, we are with you; we were only mockers."

A onaj ko se okrene od Opomene Moje, taj će teškim životom živjeti i na Kijametskom danu slijepim ćemo ga oživiti."

English - Saheeh International

[But] Allāh mocks them and prolongs them in their transgression [while] they wander blindly.

"Gospodaru moj", reći će, "zašto si me slijepa oživio kad sam vid imao?"

English - Saheeh International

Those are the ones who have purchased error [in exchange] for guidance, so their transaction has brought no profit, nor were they guided.

"Evo zašto", reći će On. "Ajeti i znakovi naši su ti dolazili, ali si ih zaboravljao, pa ćeš danas tako i ti biti zaboravljen."

English - Saheeh International

Their example is that of one who kindled a fire, but when it illuminated what was around him, Allāh took away their light and left them in darkness [so] they could not see.

I tako ćemo Mi kazniti sve one koji su pretjerivali i u ajete i znakove Gospodara svoga nisu vjerovali. A patnja na onom svijetu bit će, uistinu, bolnija i vječna.

Deaf, dumb and blind - so they will not return [to the right path].

Zar njima nije poznato koliko smo naroda prije njih uništili, onih po čijim nastambama oni hode! Tu su, zaista, znakovi za ljude pametne.

Or [it is] like a rainstorm from the sky within which is darkness, thunder and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears against the thunderclaps in dread of death. But Allāh is encompassing 1 of the disbelievers.

I da nije prije izrečene riječi Gospodara tvoga, kazna bi već bila neminovna.

English - Saheeh International

The lightning almost snatches away their sight. Every time it lights [the way] for them, they walk therein; but when darkness comes over them, they stand [still]. And if Allāh had willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Indeed, Allāh is over all things competent.

Zato, otrpi njihove riječi i Gospodara svoga slavi, hvaleći Ga, prije izlaska Sunca i prije zalaska njegova, i slavi Ga u noćnim časovima, i na krajevima dana, da bi bio zadovoljan.

O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous -

[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allāh equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him].

Naredi porodici svojoj da obavlja namaz i ustraj u tome! Mi ne tražimo od tebe opskrbu, Mi tebe opskrbljujemo! A samo za bogobojaznost lijep ishod sljeduje.

English - Saheeh International

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down [i.e., the Qur’ān] upon Our Servant [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)], then produce a sūrah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses [i.e., supporters] other than Allāh, if you should be truthful.

Nevjernici govore: "Zašto nam ne donese kakav znak od Gospodara svoga?" A zar im ne dolazi objašnjenje o onome što ima u prijašnjim listovima?

English - Saheeh International

But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is people and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.

A da smo ih kakvom kaznom prije njega uništili, sigurno bi rekli: "Gospodaru naš, zašto nam nisi poslanika poslao, pa bismo riječi Tvoje slijedili prije nego što smo poniženi i osramoćeni postali."

And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.

English - Saheeh International

Indeed, Allāh is not timid to present an example - that of a mosquito or what is smaller 1 than it. And those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allāh intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient,
